As a frequent traveler and lover of good food, I recently had the pleasure of dining at a timeless hotel that boasts a restaurant which has been in the Good Food Guide for the last forty years. the experience was an elegant, yet relaxed affair where a full cooked English breakfast seemed the perfect choice, accompanied by a breakfast bar offering yogurt, cereals, and fresh fruit. the ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, with roaring fires adding a cozy touch to the meal. the staff provided a convivial welcome and the meals were truly mouth-watering. I particularly enjoyed a picnic lunch walk along the coast at Worth Maltravers, taking in the stunning views and enjoying the fresh sea air. Overall, the hotel's culinary innovation, paired with an enviable wine list, made for a truly exceptional dining experience. From the attentive staff to the delicious food, it was a memorable visit that I would highly recommend to any traveler looking for a taste of fine dining in a picturesque setting.
